Roasted Winter Squash


  • Winter Squash, or really anything gourd-like.

The spread on top contains:

  • Some of the squash seeds
  • Sage
  • Something spicy, i used jalapeno, but you can use anything with kick, or don’t.
  • Cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • A little oil (olive)

Cut and place squash on cooking sheet, cut/grind up the remaining ingredients, add oil. rub on top.
Cover with tin-foil to prevent burning.
Cook for ~20 min.
Uncover and cook till golden brown/not burnt. (~10)

Bonus tip: throw in the rest of the seeds to cook them too.  They are a good snack.

Some Yummy Bagels I made! DIY

I made some nice bagels last night!

  • Dough: 4 Cups flour, 2 Cups Water, 1 Tsp Salt, 2 Tbsp Yeast, 2 Tbsp Sugar, 2 Tsp Oil (Veg).
  • Make into 8 equal balls.
  • Rest/Rise
  • Make into Bagel shapes. (2 inch holes)
  • Rest/Rise
  • Boiled for a minute on both sides in Caramel water (Burned sugar + water).
  • Add topping. I used salt and basil. but, onions or poppys or whatever would work too.
  • Cooked at 425 for 10 min on both sides.
  • Cool, 10 min.
  • EAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT with friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are wonderful.
